Independent tests showed that Yamaha’s new EFI model of The Drive yielded 34% better mileage than any competing gasoline-powered cars with carburetors. The new model also offers “green” benefits, with a 48% reduction of exhaust emissions, and adds to gas cars’ advantages over electric options, the company says.
The husband-and-wife team that bought the public course north of San Diego in July say they have been catching up on deferred maintenance while upgrading amenities, including acquiring new golf cars. They next plan to focus on expanding outdoor F&B service.
The West Union, Ohio club fixed three unusable holes to bring the 9-hole, par-33 course back into play. The club has also lowered rates.
