The 2,000-acre property, which was recently purchased out of bankruptcy by the Singapore government, will remain a PGA-branded resort and continue to be the home of The Bob Hope Classic, through 2061. The deal gives the resort exclusive rights to use the PGA name within a 250-mile radius, in return for an annual royalty payment.
Facilities that were forced to cancel group or business meetings at their properties due to inclement weather are often left “holding the bag” when it comes to loss of revenue.
