PGA Tour Unveils Plans for New $81M Headquarters
The 187,000-sq. ft. facility in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. will consolidate the organization’s 800 employees inside one building, on property the Tour owns near TPC Sawgrass. It is scheduled for completion by 2020 and in exchange for $2.8 million in incentives provided by St. Johns County (Fla.), the Tour has promised to create over 300 new jobs by 2030.
HOA to Vote on Development Proposal for The Oak Bridge Club
Under the terms of the proposal, 40 acres of the golf course at the Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., property would be sold in exchange for a deed restriction that would guarantee the remaining golf course stays undeveloped for recreational purposes until 2057. Once the property is sold, $2 million would be earmarked for improving the remaining 12 holes, which would include a nine-hole course and a three-hole practice loop.
