Pine Oaks of Ocala Golf Course and the Ocala Golf Club are now being operated by private companies, CC Golf Management and Ocala Golf Management LLC, respectively, and are getting positive reviews for management and course conditions. Though it’s still early to determine Ocala GC’s financial state, Pine Oaks’ latest financial report showed a net profit of $101,872.
The city council of the Florida city approved a five-year contract in July that took effect October 1.
The 5-year agreement with Ocala Golf Management, a subsidiary of Billy Casper Golf, comes after the club’s expected losses of $391,553 for the current fiscal year ending Sept. 30. The new manager is expected to close the budget gap within three years.
With the addition of junior golf clinics, clubs can take pride in cultivating a new generation of golfers, while ensuring the future of their overall business.
Ocala Golf Club might lease the facility’s banquet hall kitchen to a catering business as means of raising funds to support the course.
