Ben Bridgers, who has served in both General Manager and Head Golf Professional roles at North Carolina club properties, joins the club with a “fresh perspective.” Other personnel announcements include new General Managers for 1757 Golf Club in Dulles, Va., Berkeley Hills Country Club in Duluth, Va., PGA Village in Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Dorset (Vt.) Field Club.
Kevin O’Brien has been named GM and Director of Golf of LochenHeath GC in Williamsburg, Mich.; Ann Lund was promoted from Assistant GM to GM of Clear Creek GC in Houston; and Randy Farber will serve as Bolingbrook (Ill.) GC’s latest GM. In addition, Michael Belot was appointed GM of Destination Kohler in Kohler, Wis., and appointments for KemperSports, OB Sports and Brynwood G&CC in Armonk, N.Y., have been announced.
The Scottsdale, Ariz.-based golf management company is introducing the service to offer constant tee-time booking for OB Sports-managed courses. The initial rollout of the service began with courses in Las Vegas, with plans to expand to the Phoenix/Scottsdale market later this spring.
Five courses run by OB Sports in the Las Vegas area are participating in the new promotion, which provides preferred green fees when unwrapped toys are donated. The program, which will run through December 20 and is for Nevada residents, will support HELP of Southern Nevada, a local community resource.
Timothy R. Lynch was selected by the CC of Naples (Fla.) to serve as its first General Manager in more than 20 years. Other industry appointments include a Golf Course Superintendent for Monarch Beach Golf Links, and a new Director of Communications and Membership Relations for Hound Ears Club.
A new Executive Chef at The Club at Mediterra and a new Head Golf Pro at Monarch Beach Golf Links also highlight this week’s announcements of club management appointments.
Located at The St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point, Calif., the course features a scenic Robert Trent Jones Jr. design.
The event will return to the area for the 23rd time in the association’s 34-year history.
