2016 PGA of America National Award Winners Honored at 100th PGA Annual Meeting
PGA Golf Professional of the Year Cary Cozby and PGA Teacher of the Year Mike Adams were among those honored on November 9 at the Grand Hyatt in New York City. Matt Brown, who won the PGA Merchandiser of the Year – Public Category for his work at Highlands Golf Club, was also elected Mayor of Gearhart, Ore., where he won with nearly 80% of the vote.
New Jersey PGA Names Award Winners; Florida CMAA Announces New Board
Canoe Brook CC was named 2015 Club of the Year and its Director of Golf, George Dietz II, earned the section’s Bill Strausbaugh Award. David Reasoner of The Ridgewood Country Club was named Golf Professional of the Year. For the Florida chapter, Jeff Hartigan of The Oaks Club will now serve as President.
