Back-to-back shows in San Diego gave course superintendents and club managers ample opportunity to peruse this year’s displays of productivity-enhancing and revenue-producing products.
During this year’s PGA Merchandise Show, Golf Industry Show and Club Managers Association of America expo, the Waterloo, Iowa-based member service organization provided rebate checks to members that in total represented a 30 percent increase from what was distributed after the 2012 show period.

The Connecticut Association of Golf Course Superintendents will receive the 2013 Excellence in Government Relations Award from the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. The award commends the group for organized, successful lobbying to exempt golf courses from stream-flow standards and regulations as originally proposed.
