The Saginaw County Mental Health Authority bought the Saginaw, Mich., club’s building for $280,000. The golf course remains under the ownership of First State Bank and is unlikely to open in 2012.

Germania Town and Country Club, Saginaw, Mich. closed its doors to members last month, ending its 154-year history as a private club, reports The Saginaw News.
