Wind Rose Holdings LLC, a California investment group, beat out Donald Trump and another bidder for the operational assets of the Edwards, Colo., property. The sale and settlement of outstanding litigation against club owner David Wilhelm by the membership is subject to approval by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court on December 17.

The owner of the Edwards, Colo., club is now being sued by 610 members, for opening only one of the club’s four courses. The owner could owe $108 million for refunds of 2011 dues and membership deposits.
