Launched in June, Boxgroove.com is an online, membership marketing company that works exclusively with private clubs. Using a patented web platform, Boxgroove.com allows country clubs to generate revenue and engage potential members through the controlled sale of unused tee times. Using Boxgroove.com’s player screening controls, participating clubs can target the sale of tee times to golfers of a particular geography, club affiliation and/or handicap.

“Since its launch, we’ve partnered with over 50 private clubs from 10 states,” says McRedmond Morelli, CEO and Founder. “The site is designed to be very respectful of the private club experience.”

Currently, Boxgroove.com, which is recognized by the United States Golf Association as a non-real estate country club, is in the process of growing its young network beyond its Midwestern roots. New club enrollments are beginning in New England, the Carolinas, Florida and Arizona.

“We see 2010 as our true, first year in business,” says Michael Hall, Chief Information Officer. “2009’s focus was on getting the service up and running, creating brand awareness and proving the value of the concept. We now have the ability to demonstrate the value and functionality of our service.”
