The AVANI Spa Debuts at the Abbey Resort

The all new AVANI Spa, slated to open in mid-June, 2008, is the latest enhancement to The Abbey Resort, located on the western shore of Lake Geneva, Wis.

Designed by the Getty's Group in Chicago, the $1.5 million spa renovation fuses the reputation of the Abbey and its Fontana Spa (originally launched in 1988) and the $40 million resort renovation, which was completed in 2005. The all-new spa will feature innovative spa treatments, intricate attention to detail and modern luxuries.

Boasting 35,000 sq. ft. of tranquility, the AVANI Spa houses five massage rooms, three wet treatment rooms (including hydro-therapy tubs), four skin care rooms, two multi-purpose relaxation/lounge areas complete with fireplaces, and a full menu of hair and nail services.

Spa-goers can indulge in AVANI's VIP Suite sanctuary, which will offer a private whirlpool, plasma TV, an outdoor fireplace and private patio, as well as multiple spa services within the suite itself. Accommodating two to ten guests, the suite is designed to provide an all-inclusive experience for couples, small groups, and ever-popular “girlfriends spa getaways.”

The AVANI Spa also offers private areas for men and women, each with whirlpool tubs, saunas and eucalyptus steam rooms, Swiss showers and changing areas. AVANI Spa's architectural highlight remains its renowned atrium swimming pool and lounge area, including an additional whirlpool, relaxation fountain, fitness center, juice bar and spa menu.
