CMAA Adds Certified Chief Executive Designation

The Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) has announced a new designation that will recognize managers who have demonstrated the ability to successfully serve as the most senior manager in a club.
 
The Certified Chief Executive (CCE) designation carries with it a set of minimum requirements that must be met and is separate from the Certified Club Manager designation, which is still the hallmark of professionalism within the club industry.
 
Club managers who qualify for the CCE designation must be active-status members of CMAA, have achieved the CCM designation and have served as the top executive in a club for a minimum of five years. In addition, candidates must have earned membership in CMAA's Honor Society and have successfully completed Business Management Institutes IV and V.
