The Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va., has recently added Junior Tees to all three of its championship golf courses, to give young or beginning golfers the opportunity to play alongside more experienced golfers. Each of the Junior Tee courses will play at approximately 4,000 yards, which is 1,000 yards shorter than the current forward tees. Special scorecards will also be available to show the shorter modified yardage for each course.

The addition of the Junior Tees to The Greenbrier’s championship courses enhances the services already in place for beginner golfers at the property. The resort’s Golf Academy, which features golf schools, daily clinics, private lessons, on-course playing lessons and family lessons, offers special Junior Clinics designed to introduce young golfers to the sport.
