NGF Extends Licensing Agreement with Weather Channel

The National Golf Foundation (NGF) recently announced a new three-year data licensing agreement with The Weather Channel Interactive, Inc. NGF has supplied the golf course information featured on Weather.com since 2003, and this agreement officially extends the relationship into 2011.

Weather.com ranks as one of the most popular consumer websites, providing daily golf forecasts and detailed directory listings for every active golf course in the U.S. The golf directory sections of Weather.com will soon feature a "Powered by NGF" icon, allowing users to update any of the golf course information displayed on the website. These updates will then feed directly to NGF Database Services, for review and verification.
