A 102-year-old woman from Chico, Calif. became the oldest golfer to make a hole-in-one on a regulation course. In April, Elsie McLean broke the age record at Bidwell Park Golf Course on its par-3, 96-yard fourth hole. The previous record, set in 2001, belonged to Harold Stilson, who was a 101-year-old spring chicken when he got his ace at Florida’s Deerfield Country Club. According to Chico television station KNVN, the odds of anyone, of any age, scoring an ace are one in 33,000—no odds were provided for doing it when you can shoot 100 and still beat your age.
