More than 25,000 golf industry professionals are expected to descend upon southern California to attend the GIS show, the first to be jointly presented by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA), the National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA) and the CMAA, with the additional support of the Golf Course Builders Association of America (GCBAA), the American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA), and the National Golf Foundation (NGF).
“The opportunity to have the leaders and members of these organizations together in the same place at the same time is unprecedented in our industry,” says Mike Hughes, CEO of the NGCOA. “We think this will lead to a very integrated team approach to addressing challenges and identifying solutions among attendees.”
The event will feature approximately 1,200 exhibitors in more than 298,000 square feet of exhibit space and the GIS’s signature interactive solution centers, along with education, networking and solutions for golf course superintendents, owners/operators, general managers, chief operating officers, architects and builders.
The trade show floor will open at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22, and close at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24.
Trade Show Highlights
Team Day. Golf Industry Show Team Day will be held on Friday, Feb. 23. Team Day will offer opportunities to foster teamwork and develop leadership skills between members of a club’s management staff: the owner, general manager and superintendent.

The Golf Industry Show Solution Centers will feature hands-on activities, demonstrations and educational programming relevant to the operation of select areas of a golf and club operation: Team Solutions, Clubhouse Solutions, Golf Course Solutions, and Range and Outdoor Facility Solutions. Buyer/Seller Marketplace. New this year, the trade show floor will have a Buyer/Seller Marketplace where exhibitors can meet with customers and conduct business in a relaxed, semi-private atmosphere.
New Product Showcase. The industry’s newest products and services will be on display along the 20-foot aisle at the front of the main exhibit hall. For more information about the Golf Industry Show, visit www.golfindustryshow.com.
