Huckleberry Rub

¼ cup               dried and ground huckleberries
2 Tbps.            dried and ground cherries
¼ cup               kosher salt
2 Tbsps.           ground black pepper
¼ cup               light brown sugar
1 tsp.                cayenne pepper
2 tsp.                granulated garlic
1 tsp.                ground ginger
2 Tbsps.           Smoked Paprika 

Procedure:

  • Combine all ingredients. Use with wild game or beef. Rub on at least 1 hour prior to grilling or smoking then again right before smoking or grilling.
  • It can also be used as a condiment.
