More than 4,100 PGA pro-fessionals, key retailers and 350 golf-related manufacturers met in Las Vegas Sept. 12-14 for the PGA Fall Expo.

The retooled show featured new programming and a new location—the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, which provided a more comfortable setting for networking, explains Ed Several, Industry Vice President and Show Manager.

Organizers were pleased with the show’s success, citing these highlights:
• The number of exhibitors increased eight percent, from 320 to 350.
• The first PGA Fall Expo Golf Outing and Product Testing Day attracted two full fields of industry professional players and sold-out manufacturer participation.
• The new PGA Fall Expo Trend Seminar provided insight on apparel and equipment trends, as well as how to profit from them.
• Renowned golf instructor Butch Harmon attracted a capacity crowd for the Teach-the-Teacher Clinic.
• The Apparel Retailer Roundtable debuted and featured an exchange of apparel-trend ideas related to technology/fabrications, color palates and merchandising programs.
