KemperSports will manage the semi-private North Augusta, S.C., property, which includes 27 holes of golf, and a clubhouse with multiple dining options and men’s and women’s locker rooms.
KemperSports has been selected to manage Mount Vintage Plantation & Golf Club in North Augusta, S.C. The club, which serves as the centerpiece of an expansive Mount Vintage Plantation community, is a short drive from Augusta National.
The semi-private club includes 27 holes of golf, including the Chester Nine, Vintage Nine and Independent Nine, all designed by Tom Jackson. The Chester and Vintage routings were built in 2000 while the Independent was added in 2008.
The golf course, which hosted the LPGA’s Asahi Ryokuken International Championship from 2001 to 2004, was ranked No. 1 in the Midlands Region in 2009, 2011 and 2013 by the South Carolina Golf Course Ratings Panel.
In addition to award-winning golf, the club includes a well-appointed clubhouse with multiple dining options and men’s and women’s locker rooms. The club offers multiple membership options, including a family and limited family plan, individual and limited individual plan, non-resident plan, and national plan.
“KemperSports has the experience that we were looking for in a partner,” said property representative Brad Hailey. “We are confident that this partnership with KemperSports will benefit the club and its members.”
KemperSports will be tasked with enhancing the member experience through implementation of staff training programs, enhanced member social programming and consistency and quality of service.
“We look forward to working with our team to improve member and guest service levels,” said KemperSports CEO Steve Skinner. “Working with the ownership group our goal will be to maintain superb course conditions and grow the club’s programming.”
