The El Paso, Texas property is leasing its restaurant and events services to new management, and plans to add a Starbucks kiosk, workout facility, and salon and spa.
Vista Hills Golf Club in El Paso, Texas is adding more services and leasing its restaurant and events to new management in hopes that changes will boost membership, the El Paso (Texas)-based KFOX 14 reported.
“We’re going to get a Starbucks kiosk here. We’re going to get a workout facility. We’re going to have a salon and spa. We’re going to a new level with this provider,” Board President James Long said.
Vista Hills expects the renovations to bring in new members. The club currently has about 80 members who use the golf course, and about 40 social members who pay to use the restaurant and events, KFOX 14 reported.
Long also said Vista Hills does not expect to raise fees in the future to accommodate new services, KFOX 14 reported.
The club’s new restaurant will be called La Hacienda. It will serve Mexican food, and Vista Hills said event services will also offer different types of food, KFOX 14 reported.
The new managers planning these changes said they expect Vista Hills to become a one-stop shop for large events like quinceaneras and weddings, KFOX 14 reported.
“They can purchase their wedding gown, as well as their cake and meals. Of course, we’ll host their events at our halls,” Vista Hills Event Center manager Brittany Bidwell said.
Bidwell said these changes will have to be a quick turnaround. The building is still under construction and the new services are expected to be ready by the first of the new year, KFOX 14 reported.
