C&RB‘s annual club chef conference will take place in Savannah Ga., from March 1-3, 2015. Augusta National GC’s Jim James, CCM, Senior Director, Club & Hospitality Operations, will kick off the event with his keynote address, “Less is Better.”
Registration for Club & Resort Business’ 2015 Chef to Chef Conference, to be held March 1-3, 2015, at The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa in Savannah, Ga., is now open.
To kick off the event, Jim G. James, CCM, Senior Director, Club and Hospitality Operations, Augusta National Golf Club, will present his keynote address following the Conference’s opening reception and dinner on Sunday night, March 1. James will share insights with Conference attendees on how an approach of “Less is Better” can lead to successful management of increasingly complex and diverse club management activities—and especially in food and beverage—through a focus on three key areas: people, place and process.
Matthew Roher, Senior Executive Chef of The Landings Club in Savannah, will serve as the Local Conference Coordinator, providing attendees with “on the ground” assistance regarding the local culinary scene. Chef Roher will also participate in the Conference’s demonstration session on “Using Sous Vide Safely and Effectively for all Occasions” that is scheduled for Monday morning, March 2.
