Troon Privé, the private club division of Troon, has been selected to manage Blackstone Country Club at Vistancia, in Peoria, Ariz., 30 minutes northwest of Phoenix.
Blackstone CC, C&RB’s March 2012 cover story (http://clubandresortbusiness.com/2012/03/01/playing-well-peoria-arizona/) features a 30,000-sq. ft., Hacienda-style clubhouse designed by Bing Hu and a Jim Engh-designed championship golf course. The club also has a 24-hour fitness center, lighted tennis courts for recreational and tournament play, a resort-style pool with private cabanas, a lap pool and a children’s play area.
Blackstone CC offers several membership options, including equity golf, non-equity golf and social memberships along with junior golf and corporate memberships. Residence in Blackstone or Vistancia is not required for club membership.

Troon also announced that it has been selected to manage Centennial Golf Club in Carmel, N.Y, located where Westchester, Putnam and Fairfield counties meet.
Centennial GC features a 27-hole championship course designed by Larry Nelson, who called the 340-acre layout “the most naturally suited to golf” he has ever seen. The 27 holes are made up of three nines, Meadows, Lakes and Fairways.
The property also features a double-ended driving range and bunkered target greens, are complemented by an extensive short-game area designed by Dave Pelz with three putting greens and two separate chipping and bunker areas. Centennial also hosts Dave Pelz Golf Schools from May through September.

Troon also announced a partnership with Aviara Golf Club at Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad, Calif.
The Aviara Golf Club overlooks the Batiquitos Lagoon nature preserve and is considered the only coastal California course designed by Arnold Palmer. It is also the current host of the LPGA Kia Classic, which will return in 2015 for the event’s sixth year.
The club features an elegant two-story, 32,000-sq. ft. Spanish Colonial clubhouse with a bar, large lounge with fireplace, and the adjoining Argyle Steakhouse with indoor and outdoor balcony seating.
