A golfer recorded a bald eagle interfering in his round at North Bellingham (Wash.) GC, plucking his ball from the green of the 12th hole and moving it to the 13th tee box.
While the USGA has a seemingly endless list of rules regarding how to handle a golf ball that is moved by the wind or even a tumbleweed, interference by a bald eagle is not specifically mentioned.
Golfer Joe Saletto recorded an unusual sight during a round at North Bellingham Golf Course in Bellingham, Wash., as a bald eagle kicked around his golf ball on the green of the 12th hole, then flew away with it.
When the golfers move on to the 13th tee box, the eagle was there, leaving the same golf ball behind.
