MembersFirst Names Kopanon President and CEO

Formerly Managing Business Development Director for McGladrey LLP, he will succeed company co-founder Tony Baudanza in that role; Baudanza will remain Chairman and continue to play an active role in the company.

MembersFirst® Inc., the Wayland, Mass.-based provider of online marketing, communications and back-office management solutions serving member-based clubs, businesses and organizations, has appointed Kevin Kopanon as its President and CEO. Kopanan succeeds Tony Baudanza, the company’s co-founder, who will remain Chairman of the Board of Directors and continue to play an active role in the company.

Most recently, Kopanon served as Managing Business Development Director for McGladrey LLP, the nation’s fifth-largest provider of assurance, tax and consulting services, with more than 6,500 employees nationwide. While at McGladrey, Kevin earned 2011 Employee of the Year honors for the East Region and was a finalist for the National Employee of the Year award. In addition, he was a key member of the Advisory Team supporting the annual McGladrey Classic golf tournament played at Sea Island Golf Club.

As a member of Bass Rocks Golf Club in Gloucester, Mass., Kopanon has also spent more than 10 years in various club governance roles, including Finance Committee Member, Board Member, Vice President and finally as Club President. He and his family are also active members at three private clubs located in and around Boston.
