Quintero Golf Club in Peoria, Ariz. is preparing to debut new club amenities when the course reopens for play on Saturday, October 20, after completion of overseeding.
Upgrades include a newly constructed pergola, aptly named “The View from the Q,” that overlooks the practice range and includes a barbecue and service area where golfers can order food and refreshments while warming up on the range or waiting to tee off.
Other added amenities include a new 6,500-sq. ft. putting green; additional tee boxes that will allow the course to offer seven different sets of rated tees for men and four sets of rated tees for women; a remodeled clubhouse grill with an expanded outdoor dining area and updated menu items, and a renovated golf shop featuring collections by Nike and Greg Norman.
“We had a great overseed and are primed for a fantastic golf season,” said Tom Wilcox, Quintero’s General Manager. “We are anxious to show off the course, which is in amazing shape, as well as some of the exciting new upgrades that we made during the summer.”
