Hilton Tucson Resort Completes $6 Million Project

The Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort’s lobby, restaurant and meeting room renovations are part of a three-year, $3 billion plan of significant property enhancements underway across the global portfolio of Hilton Hotels & Resorts.

Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort has completed a multi-million dollar enhancement project. The renovation is part of a three-year, $3 billion plan of significant property renovations currently underway across the global portfolio of Hilton Hotels & Resorts, the flagship brand of Hilton Worldwide.

As part of the updates, guests will be introduced to a redesigned lobby and Conquistador Lobby Lounge, as well as a new Southwestern restaurant, an age-exclusive retreat, 16 resurfaced tennis courts and the Executive Conference Center.

“We are very pleased to offer guests attractive new public spaces including a peaceful retreat, as well as a new restaurant concept and a premier conference center,” said Lynn Ericksen, General Manager. “Our resort has long been regarded as one of the top destinations for business and leisure travelers in the area, and with the new enhancements we will continue to provide an exceptional guest experience.”

The AAA Four Diamond award-winning resort’s lobby was transformed into a comfortable and stylish social gathering place, complete with Western-inspired accents and artwork. The revitalized El Conquistador Lounge serves signature cocktails and light fare, and the centerpiece of the area is a new circular sitting area that is contemporary, yet reminiscent of old-world Western style.

Adjacent to the lobby are two signature restaurants, including the Epazote Kitchen & Cocktails, serving innovative regional fare. Epazote Kitchen & Cocktails features a remodeled low-key dining room with an inviting bar and outdoor seating space overlooking the resort’s pool and views of the surrounding mountains. The resort’s Sundance Café, offering indoor and outdoor dining, was also revitalized with new furnishings and more modern décor.

The resort’s new age-restricted, secluded Acacia retreat is set among the Sonoran Desert with the resort’s casita village. It offers an oasis with private casitas, an exclusive sparkling pool, upgraded amenities, private patios and stunning views.

The Executive Conference Center at Hilton Tucson El Conquistador provides eight meeting rooms, including a permanent boardroom with a built-in 70-inch LED television for presentations.
