The renovations for the Greenville, S.C., club will offer new amenities through its “Anytime Lounge,” “Touchdown Rooms” and upgraded Wi-Fi and mobile reception. The project is expected to wrap up by the end of the year.
The Commerce Club, a ClubCorp property located in Greenville, S.C., is being renovated through the end of the year with a $1 million price tag, Greenville Online reported.
The club’s renovation project will “offer more opportunities for members to connect, work, host, play and celebrate,” through new style, technology and innovative networking opportunities, an announcement from the club said.
“For more than 20 years the Commerce Club has served as the city’s premier private business and social club,” said Arnold Burrell, Chairman of the club’s Board of Governors. “The upcoming renovations will greatly enhance that role in the community —providing more opportunities for members to showcase the club to their friends, families and colleagues.”
The Commerce Club, located on the 17th floor of the Liberty Square Building on Beattie Place in downtown Greenville, will offer new rooms and amenities, fresh dining options and new programming, such as an “Anytime Lounge,” where members can drop in for a latte, catch up on the news, work on laptops and iPads, meet colleagues, dine or just relax and hang out. The club also offers “Touchdown Rooms” for private calls, interviews or meetings with clients; a Beattie Bar for “networking and celebrating” where members can enjoy sporting events on an 82-inch, flat-screen TV; and enhanced technology with upgraded Wi-Fi and mobile reception, Greenville Online reported.
“This is an exciting time for the club,” said Dylan Petrick, General Manager. “These renovations will provide more value to current and future members. as well as bring a fresh energy to the club, making it more relevant to Greenville and its culture.”
