The Westervelt Company selected Honours to provide management and membership marketing services for the private Tuscaloosa, Ala., club. NorthRiver’s on-site marina allows direct access to Lake Tuscaloosa and its 18-hole, Gary Player-designed championship golf course was redesigned in 1999 by Bob Cupp.
The Westervelt Company has chosen Honours Golf Company to provide club management and membership marketing services for NorthRiver Yacht Club. The private Tuscaloosa, Ala., club offers an 18-hole, Gary Player-designed championship golf course, comprehensive tennis facilities, swimming pools, a fitness center and several dining options.
“Honours Golf has a tremendous reputation for operating and maintaining several outstanding clubs in the Southeast,” stated Mike Case, President and CEO of the Westervelt Company. “Their experience, quality and dedication to service will move NorthRiver Yacht Club to a new level of excellence.”
NorthRiver was founded in 1970 and is situated along the banks of Lake Tuscaloosa with an on-site marina to provide direct access. In 1999, Bob Cupp redesigned the golf course to add bentgrass greens and modernized bunkers.
