Toll Golf Acquires Oak Creek Golf Course

The golf and country club division of Toll Brothers, Inc., purchased the Upper Marlboro, Md., course on June 14. Toll looks to renovate and re-open the property, which closed in April 2011 and has since been fallow.

Toll Golf acquired Oak Creek Golf Course in Upper Marlboro, Md., on June 14, 2012.

Toll Golf, the golf and country club division of Toll Brothers, Inc., purchased the Ault-Clark designed course, which closed in April 2011. The 18-hole course opened in 2007, featuring 7,111 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72.

The course has been fallow since closing and Toll Golf looks to renovate and re-open the golf course.

“Toll Golf is proud to take over the ownership of such a beautiful golf course located in a prime residential setting near the Washington, DC Beltway,” said Dave Richey, President of Toll Golf.

“Our development team is excited to not only begin working to renovate and re-open the golf course, but also to complete the clubhouse and maintenance facilities,” Richey said.
