Dean Uribe has been named the new Vice President of Corporate Development for the Waterloo, Iowa-based member service organization. The former PepsiCo executive will be located in California.
Dean Uribe has been named the new Vice President of Corporate Development for Waterloo, Ia.-based VGM Club, a member service organization for the club industry. Through over 450 supplier and distributor partners, VGM Club offers its 3,400 members volume discounts, improved terms, cash rebates and other incentives for all areas of their operations. Other benefits offered by the club include accredited education seminars and special programs designed specifically for members/customers.
In his new position, Uribe, who will be located in California, will be responsible for developing and managing key supplier relationships for VGM Club and their members. He will also have responsibilities in developing new supplier relationships for the company.
Uribe joins VGM Club after spending nearly 25 years with PepsiCo, most recently as the National Account Sales Manager overseeing the Gaming, Golf, and Skiing sectors. His career with Pepsi began in 1988 and has included positions with Vending, Pepsi Fountain, Gatorade and Frito-Lay. In these positions, his responsibilities included channel development as well as marketing and sales management.
“Dean has an extensive background in sales and marketing for the hospitality and entertainment industry. His experience will bring new ideas and opportunities for VGM Club-contracted suppliers as well as our members,” said D. Jay Ellis, President and CEO of VGM Club.
