The Armonk, N.Y. club was struck during a storm that rolled through Westchester County. No injuries were reported.
Lightning struck the pro shop at Brynwood Golf and Country Club in Armonk, N.Y. on July 15, the Armonk Daily Voice reported.
William Delotto, an Armonk firefighter, said several fire engines were on the scene following the strike.
The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning that day for Westchester County for storms capable of producing damaging winds at speeds more than 60 mph from 4:39 p.m. until 5:30 p.m., the Voice reported.
There were no injuries as a result of the strike and fire crews left the scene around 6 p.m.
