New membership network gives access to private New England clubs and will benefit area food banks and St. Jude’s Hospital.
Golfers looking for access to a few of southern New England’s most highly regarded private clubs can get in on the ground floor through a new membership network, The Atlantic Players Club.
“We created The Atlantic Players Club as a way to bring together people who love golf and respect the game’s values, traditions and history, while giving something back to important charitable organizations,” said David Silva, Founding Member and Co-President.
The club offers a limited number of introductory packages that include a number of special events throughout May and June at The Kittansett Club in Marion, Mass., Shelter Harbor Golf Club in Charlestown, R.I., Wannamoisett Country Club in Rumford, R.I., Boston Golf Club in Hingham, Mass., Ledgemont Country Club in Seekonk, Mass., and more.
The Atlantic Players Club released a calendar of fundraising events to support charities such as St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and the food banks of Greater Boston and Rhode Island.
Those who take advantage of the club’s introductory package will receive a foursome in a tournament held June 25 at Ledgemont to benefit St. Jude’s.
“Because of our tournament at Ledgemont to benefit St. Jude and our commitment to our two regional food banks, The Atlantic Players Club has been able to gain access to a number of distinguished and iconic courses,” Silva said. “Other clubs in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island also will stage member events this summer as part of The Atlantic Players Club’s exclusive membership benefits.”
