Semi-private Northbridge, Mass., course offers playing privileges at five facilities on the “Freedom Golf Trail.”
Shining Rock Golf Club in Northbridge, Mass., now offers reciprocating memberships for full members of its semi-private course, World Golf News reports.
The seasonal membership permits playing privileges at five facilities along what is known as the “Freedom Golf Trail.” Golf courses on the trail include Quidnessett Country Club in North Kingstown, R.I.; Hopkinton (Mass.) Country Club; Sterling (Mass.) Country Club; Norton (Mass.) Country Club; and Cape Neddick Golf Club in Ogunquit, Maine.
“Gaining access to the fine clubs in the ‘Freedom Golf Trail’ network is a great benefit for Shining Rock golfers who elect to take advantage of a full membership,” said club spokesman Tim Gordon. “We have attractively priced these packages and we believe we offer a golf value that is unbeatable in the region.”
Full members can play other courses on a weekday for a nominal fee. Only 75 memberships at Shining Rock are reserved for 2012 and reservations can be made through the club’s golf professional no more than five days in advance of tee time. The club also offers free golf carts with a round every Wednesday through the month of May.
