Jacobsen Awards Top-Performing Dealers at Golf Industry Show

G.C Duke wins top honors as Dealer of the Year.

Jacobsen, a manufacturer of high-quality turf equipment, recognized its top-performing dealers and salespeople during the 2012 Golf Industry Show in Las Vegas.

Jacobsen’s Dealer of the Year award went to G.C. Duke, a Canadian-based dealer with more than 60 years in the industry. The top honor is based on a dealer’s sales growth, market penetration and market share.

“The dealer awards ceremony is always a special event for us and our dealer network,” said Ric Stone, VP of Sales for Jacobsen. “Our dealers work so hard throughout the year, and we look forward to recognizing those who have truly gone above and beyond for our customers.”

Individual dealer salesperson awards went to George Corgan of Steve Willand, Nicky Redanty of Moffatt Turf Equipment and Wally Gaudet of Ladd’s. Peter Madeiros of Golf Ventures received special recognition for success on targeted conquest accounts.

Other award highlights included recognition of the Malvese Equipment Company for 100 years in business. Lawn & Golf Supply Co., Inc. received two awards, one commemorating 75 years in the business and another for outstanding service.

Asia-Pacific dealers recognized were PT Sahabat in Indonesia, who picked up the Asia-Pacific Dealer of the Year Award and an outstanding service award.  Mikuna in Japan went home with a sales award and ProTurf Machinery of Australia received a conquest award.
