NGF Recognizes Outstanding Facilities with 10th Annual Customer Satisfaction Awards

FarmLinks Golf Club and Sand Creek Station Golf Course received outstanding customer approval ratings in each of the categories.

The National Golf Foundation (NGF) presented the 10th annual Customer Satisfaction Awards to managers of public golf facilities that received outstanding customer approval ratings. The Customer Satisfaction Awards are based on NGF customer satisfaction research conducted in 2011. Facilities with the highest overall customer satisfaction scores are being recognized with these awards.

Facilities earning the Highest Overall Customer Satisfaction ratings were divided into two categories, based on green fees, and included these winners and runners-up:

Facilities with green fees greater than $70

Winner: FarmLinks Golf Club, Sylacauga, Ala. (Honours Golf)
Runner-up: Butterfield Trail Golf Course, El Paso, Texas (KemperSports)
Runner-up: The Wilderness At Fortune Bay, Tower, Minn. (KemperSports)

Facilities with green fees less than $70

Winner: Sand Creek Station Golf Club, Newton, Kan. (KemperSports)
Runner-up: Falcon Dunes Golf Course, Waddell, Ariz. (U.S. Air Force)
Runner-up: Hubbard Memorial Golf Course, Hill Afb, Utah (U.S. Air Force)

NGF’s customer satisfaction programs have been administered at over 1,000 golf facilities and the resulting sample of over 500,000 completed surveys allows participating facilities to compare their satisfaction measures against benchmarks of similarly priced facilities.
