PGA National Announces Labor Day Specials For Service Professionals

Holiday weekend includes free night stay, exclusive golf rates, BBQs, free breakfast for kids and more.

PGA National Resort & Spa, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., invites active duty military, fire and police to enjoy a Labor Day celebration September 2-5 with its special room rates, family activities and exclusive golf rates.

A portion of all weekend proceeds will be donated to Patriot Golf Day—flagship fundraiser for the Folds of Honor Foundation that provides postsecondary education for the children and spouses of military men and women disabled or killed while serving.

A special golf rate of $30 is available for service professionals, including The Palmer, Haig, Squire and Estate Courses. The famed Champion Course can be played for $50. Also available on Labor Day weekend are poolside BBQs on Sunday and Monday ($10 per person), daily buffet breakfast in the Citrus Tree ($10, children 12 and under free), nightly “3 for $30″ tasting menu in the Ironwood Grille (5 – 7 p.m.) and summer specials in The Spa.

“Labor Day weekend offers us a chance to say ‘thank you’ to service personnel for all they do for our communities and country on a daily basis,” says Joel Paige, Vice President and Managing Director. “With our upcoming 30-year anniversary this November, we want service families to enjoy our array of amenities.”
