O’Brien’s appointment coincides with the club’s newly established first phase of golf cottages opening this season at the highly acclaimed Jim Engh-designed course.
Kevin O’Brien, has been named as the General Manager and Chief Operating Officer at True North Golf club in Harbor Springs, Mich.
As GM/COO, O’Brien will oversee True North’s entire operations, including the completion of the first hospitality element to be built at True North and the Club’s new short game and instructional area.
O’Brien was the general manager of The Resorts of Tullymore & St. Ives for the past five years. He served as Director of Golf for 11 years before moving up to the resort’s top job.
O’Brien’s appointment follows his latest professional achievement. His peers recently selected him as the 2010 Merchandiser of the Year for the Michigan PGA Section – an unprecedented fifth time for him to achieve such an honor.
