Vollrath® Introduces New Somerset™ Buffet Service

The Vollrath Company, Sheboygan, Wis., is introducing Somerset Buffet Service, a stylish new offering designed with durability, functionality and quality craftsmanship.

Vollrath’s new Somerset Buffet Service line has three new options including a fully retractable nine-quart rectangle chafer with a three-position dome cover, a seven-quart soup urn and a four-quart gravy/sauce urn.  In addition to its design, the Somerset Buffet Service line is easy to clean and features heavy-duty durability with solid legs and welded construction throughout.

The new Somerset buffet line also includes a new hinge concept that easily moves between three positions-closed, 90 degree, and fully-open-and it operates with no levers or switches.

Vollrath’s Super Pan 3® is included with Vollrath’s nine-quart rectangular Somerset chafer. The chafer also features an extra-wide rimmed dripless water pan that captures water and condensation, keeping both the food and table dry. The channeled cover on the new chafer allows condensation to accumulate in the dome and then transfer into a channel on the back of the cover and drop into the water pan for more control over the quality of the food being served.  In addition, the new Somerset chafer’s dome cover is removable for easy cleaning.

Vollrath’s Somerset line comes with windguard shields that add to the line’s design and protect the fuel source, whether it is standard fuel or Vollrath’s Universal Electric Heater, from wind during outdoor use.
