A resort stay is required for golf. For all green fees collected over Labor Day weekend, a portion will be donated to Patriot Golf Day-flagship fundraiser for the Folds of Honor Foundation that provides postsecondary education for the children and spouses of military men and women disabled or killed while serving.
Other highlights include a “Three for $30” menu in the Ironwood Grille designed by current “Top Chef” contestant and PGA National’s new Executive Chef – Kenny Gilbert. A BBQ will be held on Saturday and Sunday at The Wave Poolside Grille from 12-4 p.m. with live music and drink specials. In addition to the complimentary night of accommodation, active military may add extra nights for just $59.
“Our Labor Day offer for active military is our way of saying ‘thank you’ for their sacrifices to our country,” says Joel Paige, Vice President and Managing Director of PGA National.
