Brunswick Plantation & Golf Resort has reached the end of a renovation of its three 9-hole golf courses: The Magnolia, The Azalea and The Dogwood. Due to reopen this month, the courses will have new putting surfaces and several new tee boxes that stretch the length of each course. All 27 greens and the practice green at the facility are being replaced with Champion Bermuda grass. The natural contours of the putting surfaces will be preserved and the new grass will allow the greenskeeper to maintain very consistent, smooth and fast greens. In addition, Brunswick Plantation’s management is sprucing up the course by repaving the cart paths, strategically planting trees around the course to define hazards and fairways, and reshaping grass bunkers.
